GEBOR® has five standing committees composed of volunteer association members.

Community Outreach Committee

Promotes the value of the REALTOR® brand and the association’s commitment to the communities of Erie and Crawford Counties through acts of service and fundraising events. As per NAR Core Standards, activities should include volunteer or community service and organized fundraising activity with proceeds benefitting a community organization.

Designer Bag Bingo Plus and Beach Day Clean-Up are events that this committee organizes.

Education Committee

Develops and provides educational programs for the benefit of the membership. At least one educational program per year must offer continuing education coursework required for the Pennsylvania Real Estate License renewal cycle.

REALTOR® Opportunity Day, Legal Potpourri, and Safety Seminars are events orgainized by this committee.

Entertainment Committee

Plans and implements social events to promote membership engagement and morale.
Planned events include the annual Holiday Luncheon, happy hours, and a sporting event. The Golf Outing is planned by a Subcommittee.

Finance Committee

Reviews association finances, investments, expenses, and budgets for the purpose of making recommendations to the Board of Directors for their approval.

Legislative Committee

Monitors, reviews, interviews, and recommends political candidate endorsements, public policy positions, and legislative actions to GEBOR’s Board of Directors.
